Uniform

HWS Uniform Expectations

Uniform is an important part of a school’s identity as it reinforces who we are in the community and helps allow students to feel pride in their school. It also helps prepare students for life after school, where many will have to dress smartly for work.

High Well School uniform expectations are as follows:

  • Official High Well polo shirt* (grey with school logo) -to be ordered through the School Money App
  • Official High Well sweatshirt* (black with school logo) - to be ordered through the School Money App (optional)
  • Plain black/navy/grey school trousers or jogging bottoms or plain black/navy/grey knee length skirt with plain black/navy/grey tights.
  • On PE days, children are permitted to come in wearing their PE/sports wear which again should be: tracksuit bottoms/shorts (that are not cycling shorts), polo shirt, jumper and trainers
  • Sensible school shoes or trainers
  • Pupils can wear coats or jackets of their choosing; they are required to remove these in lesson time. These will be stored in their lockers in their classroom bases in school.

* If you would prefer your child to wear uniform without a logo, you can purchase plain grey polo shirts and black round neck sweatshirts from your local supermarket.

Pupils are not permitted to wear the following for school: combat style trousers, cycling shorts, leggings, clothes with large logos, crop tops, Crocs or flip flops/sliders, nail extensions of an unnatural length.

Please note, additional polo shirts/sweatshirts are available to purchase from school by placing an order through the School Money App as we are now a cashless school. There is a lead in time for uniform orders of approximately 2-3 weeks, once we have received the orders we will contact you to collect them from school site. Please keep these time frames in mind when placing your order.

Should you need any support with using the School Money App, please contact the main reception on 01924 57210; our staff will be happy to help resolve any issues.
